"After spending last year apart because of COVID this Christmas is going to be a special one as we hug everyone that little bit closer.”

The pandemic meant that many families couldn’t spend time together last year and social distancing restrictions also affected end-of-life care. For some, that meant being unable to say goodbye to their loved one in person. This Christmas, let’s remember together and celebrate the precious moments that make this time of year so special.

Despite the challenges of the past year, we have come together as a community to keep Martlets caring. Together we have stood firm in a crisis and have been there to offer patients and their families hope, purpose and possibility. Together we have shared difficult journeys, but thanks to your support we have been able to offer expert care to those who need us. As winter approaches, we invite you to shine a light through darker days as we remember together.

Memory Trees

This year we have partnered with local businesses to offer spaces to Remember Together across our community. While you are out and about enjoying the festive lights and Christmas markets, take a moment to pause and reflect while visiting a Martlets Memory tree.

Trees can be found across our community in business, churches and community spaces, including a giant 15-foot tree in Jubilee Square. Please use the map below to find your nearest tree and always be sure to check with the venue first to see their opening times as these will vary.
