Monday 16 March is Disabled Access Day which highlights the importance of accessibility and inclusiveness for all. Our new hospice building, which opened in 2023, was designed with these principles in mind.
Roy was devastated after the loss of his wife Pat, who was cared for by Martlets. At first, he was reticent about ‘talk therapy’, but now he’s keen to encourage other bereaved men to get this support.
This much needed funding allows us to continue improving the services we offer to our communities despite the financial pressures of the hospice sector.
