Martlets 5th Halloween Ball raises an incredible £70,000

Our 5th annual Halloween Ball took place on Saturday 26th October 2019 at The Grand Hotel, Brighton and raised an incredible £70,000 to help provide life-changing hospice care for people in and around Brighton and Hove.

400 people attended the ball and were entertained by live band and a special set by Martlets Ambassador, DJ Norman Cook a.k.a Fatboy Slim. The evening was hosted by compare and auctioneer, Steve Bustin who encouraged bids for amazing prizes including: a day in the studio with celebrated music producer Steve Mac; an EasterEnders plaque signed by the whole cast donated by actress Carol Harrison – who attended the ball with guests – and a stunning exclusively created ‘junior’ Snail by Brighton-based internationally renowned artist Sarah Arnett.

Emma Knight, Martlets Head of Partnerships said:

“We were absolutely thrilled on the night to announce that the event raised £70,000 which means that it was our most successful Halloween Ball yet.  It was a wonderful evening and we are so grateful to everyone who had a part to play in making it such a success.”
